Overshadowed

Toronto has never been a safe city. From muggings to murders, Arya Patel has always been surrounded by crimes. It's part of the reason why her introverted-self is obsessed with mysteries and thrillers. But when the popular high school senior Neal Sanders is murdered, Arya begins to realize just how dangerous the city can be. Despite the urge to remain in the shadows and let the police handle the case, Arya is obliged to play detective and find the real culprit, considering how the crime hits close to home. But what she doesn't know is that the investigation may completely alter her life forever.
