Wolves and Roses. Camden Academy's dual mascot. One Tylas Vendetti is becoming familiar with. After a computer glitch and a curiosity surge, the Hispanic teen finds herself with a scholarship to this Academy. It's all smiles and rainbows- for the first couple hours.
Soon crimes begin to spiderweb around the school, first sporadically, then with startling regularity. Along with the crimes comes a lesson: nothing is as it seems. Tylas and her multiple-aliased detective of a roommate, Deck, race head first into the task of solving them. Never look before you leap, they say. This, of course, is often disregarded. In this case, however, heeding the warning would've been wise.
Because a dangerous person is out there, made all the more dangerous by their mentality. Her final goal? Murder. To see drops of red stain the ground, to smell the coppery stench of blood. Who it is makes no difference... but preferences do exist.
The land of Wolves and Roses is getting a lot more interesting.

Victore Academy boarding school is a lot of things. To the outside world, it's the heaven of schools. For some students, it's an experience they'll never forget. For others, it's the place to start their careers. And maybe for a few, it's the peak of their lives and really as good as it's going to get for them. And for me... well, I'll need a bit more than this to talk about that. But before you step in, here's a few things that everyone makes note of: 1. The students have secrets. And money. It's hard to tell what more of, honestly. 2. Don't get a room on the West Side of the girl's dorms. The birds around that private property lake house downside from campus don't stop chirping at 5AM. It's unpleasant, to say the least. 3. Avoid Mr. Labadee's classroom at all costs outside of lessons, especially past fifth period. It's better off if you're left in the dark with this one. 4. That asshole from Spain that terrorizes all the young freshmen is not hot. However, girls do make note of the fact that he works out post seventh period and right before first, near the track field. 5. The Victor's Tournament happens every year for all the senior year students. It's a pretty big deal. 6. She remembered her scent. It seemed to verify her aura. Her scent was cherry Coke and cigarettes. The latter one was passed onto her, especially after she had handed her her first cigarette only three months ago. Three months was all it took for her to develop that bad habit, but it wasn't the first nor the only one she developed in that period of time. Now she laid on the roof where she had smoked her first cigarette three months ago, and she glanced over at the full can of cherry Coke sitting on the concrete next to her, almost as if it were mocking her.
