This story follows Antonia and Anthony.
The vampire conclave choose which humans are to be sired, and which are to be fed on. Antonia was selected to become a vampire.
But before she is turned, Antonia meets Anthony, who shows her a side of things she never knew. But there is more to Anthony than meets the eye. Some how the vampire conclave find out about Antonia and Anthony, bringing their world crashing down.
The two are torn away from one another, and each believes the other is long dead.
Antonia follows the vampire's rules for fifty years until she escapes their hold and hides among humans.
For forty years, she moves every year to hide that she does not age and keep the conclave off her trail. All the while holding on the pure memory of her long lost love Anthony.
Her life felt almost normal until she gets kidnapped by the blood guard.
