A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away.... Once known as Obi Wan Kenobi, Ben keeps to himself on the desert planet Tatooine. As he struggles to accept himself following the betrayal of his brother-like apprentice he pledges to rarely use the force and fights to confine his self to a small number of acquaintances, avoiding any one who may be a threat to his hiding place. Meanwhile, a Jedi knight lurks close to Ben's home; and his suspicions begin to rise when the man slowly enters his shadows. Sithence {Obi-Wan Kenobi/Episodes VII-IX} by Patagonian

"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...sithence" Sithence (adv.): since then, or thereupon I do feel like this is the best word for my descriptive purposes...he was once a child, but sithence grew into a man. He was a jedi knight, but sithence became that of the sith. He was once part of a family, but sithence only saw from a mask. He was once loved, but sithence is dead. His life was that of an endless transition in regards to emotional turmoil: a continual struggle between the light and the dark. And though the dark was far more powerful in entity, a brighter light was looking for the Chosen One. Theodora Lema is just one step on that journey, a step back from his darkened past and one towards the desired light of home. It was a miracle to the ancestry of the man once lost to the night, pressured by the black and stars alike. The Interlude and The New Hope aren't necessary to read if you're only focused on what happens with Vader and Palpatine, but if you want to read the "extras", I would suggest reading those. Know that the chapters after 1-2 aren't as action-packed and contain a smudge of fluff, however.) (I always have Ani fluff. The deadened hearts of the Grieving must be rekindled.) An AU where Darth Vader found out he had a son, intercepted Obi-Wan on his way to Tatooine, and took Luke. To keep him safe from the Emperor, he hid him away on Arvala-7, where years later Din Djarin would land to collect a bounty on a 50-year-old child. Having never seen the galaxy except for what was visible from his singular window, Luke decides to go with the Mandalorian when he leaves. Specific story warnings at the beginnings of each chapter, but the biggest one is an ongoing theme of overcoming child abuse (though it is not explicit and not talked about often past the first couple of chapters) so I would like to share some resources: Abuse of any kind is never okay. For help with child abuse, please contact your local CPS hotline, or speak out to mandated reporters like teachers and doctors. They can help you and will keep you safe. If you suspect a child you know is being abused, contact CPS and do not attempt to handle the situation yourself unless it is an immediate emergency, in which case call 911 or your local emergency line.
