To give the remnants more despair when they got into the Neo World program, Izuru Kamakura programmed the AI of Junko Enoshima into the AI of their long dead former friend and classmate - Chiaki Nanami. Everyone thinks of Chiaki as slightly suspicious, but they could never see her as the Mastermind, they see her only as this sweet girl who wants to be friends with everyone. However, Hajime's view changes when Chiaki obviously steers them off track in the fifth trial. Is Chiaki really what she seems, or is something darker hiding just below the surface?

Hajime Hinata wasn't expecting much when he won the lottery to attend Hope's Peak Academy. The only reason he applied was so he could guarantee scholarship money to go to the same university as his childhood friend Chiaki. Being an average student, he didn't think he would make much of an impact on his classmates or even the school as a whole. However, after returning one of Gundham's Dark Deva's of Destruction, he opened the door to become one of the school's hosts in the café, or Ultimates as they're more well known. When he decides to join the Ultimate Club, he gets to know those working in the café, but there's only one person he wants to get to know better: Nagito Komaeda. Luckily, it seems Nagito wants to get to know him better, too, but Hajime is too afraid to make his move. Hopefully Nagito will be coax his way into Hajime's heart.
