"An ordinary archer practices until he gets it right. A Ranger practices until he never gets it wrong." This is the motto that all Rangers live by. It is said that a Ranger carries 24 lives on their backs because of the 24 arrows in their quiver. Although feared among the common folk, the nobles are very welcoming with the Rangers. However not all Rangers start off with noble intentions, much like the current apprentice of Halt O'Carrick, Y/N Treaty, a previous master thief that took three Rangers to capture him. What lies ahead for this boy? Death? Freedom? Dare I say... love?

Retired Ranger Halt O'Carrick has survived many trials. A murderous brother, an impossible war, thousands of missions, two apprentices, Skandia, Genovesan poison, and living with Pauline for years. But when a rare sickness takes him over in his old age, there's no cure to be found. Can he survive? Only Will and Maddie seem to believe that the disease isn't worthy of the old Ranger's life. On a quest to save Halt, both will need to make sacrifices and stay one step ahead of time. Can they do it, and will it be too late? The Twilight Veil (Link X Reader)
"Where did you come from?" Ilia asked and that's when everything stopped. Where did I come from? I tried to remember, I thought really hard but all I could say was, "I came from a place where no mortal should ever come from if they dare keep their head." The words tumbled from my mouth before I could stop them. I slapped a hand over my mouth, scared I would say more I didn't understand. Why would I say that? (Y/n) had awoke inside of a strange house, surrounded by strange kids. The only issue with that logic, she has no memory. Nothing to trigger why the young man Link and the group of children would be so kind to a stranger. It dawns on her that she needs to find out who she is again. However a darkness is brewing, and Link has a destiny to follow. The strings of fate tangle between the young duo, and (Y/n) makes a decision to help save Hyrule from the darkness. With nothing more than a brave face and an emerald pendant tying her back home, she sets out with Link. They also fall under the service of an imp itching for revenge. However, there is one person standing in the way of (Y/n) getting home. Her best friend, the Usurper King, Zant. He has made it his life goal to protect (Y/n) from himself and place a veil over her eyes to keep her from seeing his wrongs. Her wrath would for sure be the end of his evil plans. This is, the Twilight Veil. A reader insert. COMPLETED- 2018 (Y/n)- Your name (L/n)- Last name (S/c) -Skin color (E/c)- Eye color (H/c)- Hair color The plot for this story is made by me. The plot of the game is made by Nintendo. I do not own you, I do not own this game. All characters are licensed to Nintendo and I'm just a nerd in love with Link. (Y/n) is for YOU and she may not act like you, but it's how I portray it. #1 For the Tag ZantConcluída![Death's Embrace [Link x Reader]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/120278435-256-k679644.jpg)
