Amity has long since abandoned her family and their stuck up ways. The only regret she had was leaving the twins, while they always did pick on her she knew they still loved her, but she couldn't take it anymore.

The constant need for approval, changing every part of herself, leaving her friends, pretending, it was all too much, and the expression on Em and Ed's face while she climbed from her window said it all. They understood, and that's all that matters.

Being a 13 year old on the run is a lot harder than she expected, but lucky for her, she ran into Eda the Owl Lady, who proclaimes herself to be the most powerful witch on the boiling Isles, and in her desperation she begs Eda to take her in. Lucky for her, the Owl Lady didn't mind the extra pair of hands.

There are a lot of Au's around, and they each have cool names so I'll call this one Rebel Amity Au!

Luz Noceda goes to Hexside University, she's a freshman and barely knows how to keep up with her schoolwork. She lives with her adoptive mother Eda, and Eda's two roommates King and Hooty. Amity Blight also goes to Hexside with her brother Edric and her sister Emira. She works at a coffee shop on campus to help pay for her tuition, since she told her parents she would do it on her own. human AU where both their lesbian and bi panic catch up to them. Luz also isn't lactose intolerant. contains alcoholic beverages, smoking, and cursing. When she decides to stay and help Eda, the most wanted witch on the Boiling Isles, her life turns upside down. She has to deal with various threats, from the deadly environment, and tyrannical government, to her own demons. After a few months, she finally managed to more or less stabilize her life, no matter the outside threats but everything changed as a new foe appeared in her life. How will she deal with the new problem? Will fighting your way through be enough? Everything had changed since the death of their papá. Balancing guilt, trying to conform, broken relationships, and more, it felt impossible. There were lies, secrets, and entire lives hidden from one another, and it was only a matter of time before something or someone finally unraveled it all. Amity's breath hitches in her throat, and she doesn't speak. "Can I kiss you?" Luz asks, her breath tickling Amity's lips. Without any hesitation Amity nods her head yes, her eyes still wide. She couldn't believe it. Was this actually happening or was she dreaming? Luz looks at Amity again, obviously nervous. She doesn't seem to move, so Amity does instead. She cups Luz's face with her hands and gently brings her closer, pressing her lips against Luz's. The hybrid lets out a muffled squeak of surprise, but doesn't pull away or try to stop Amity. After a moment Amity releases Luz and covers her mouth with her hand, her cheeks tinted pink. Luz says nothing, and her ears lower, the tips of them red. "Wow." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luz Clawthorne-Noceda had always lived in the demon realm along with Camila and Eda, her moms. She'd never gotten along with Amity Blight, but a witch's duel and a whole lot of magic changed that quicker than she ever thought it could. ⚠ All characters are the same ages as in the show ⚠ This story was completed on around 1:35 on July 31st, 2022 with a total word count of 61,250 words.
