It's been years since Lexa had seen her best friend Clarke, her very first crush.
There was no one on the planet more important to 15 year-old Lexa than her best friend Clarke.
When Lexa's father decides to send his only two daughter's to boarding school, Lexa makes the life changing decision to not tell Clarke she's leaving. She thought she was saving them both from a lot of heartache.
Which wasn't the case.
14 year-old Clarke was heart broken when Lexa disappeared and no one could or wanted to tell her where she went, "It's better this way." Her parents kept telling her.
At 18 years-old, Lexa returns to New York to attend her fathers funeral after a fatal shooting but doesn't find it in her heart to face Clarke.
Only two years after that when circumstances neither of them can control, forces them both to collide again.
Now young adults, Clarke 19 years-old and Lexa 20 years-old.
Will they both realize there are some unresolved feelings?

This story is good for a quick Clexa fix but you'll most likely cringe.
Therefore I recommend reading 140AD rather, not a quick Clexa fix but definitely one of the best things you will ever read.

These events take place immediately following the fateful events of episode 3x07. I wanted to rewrite the ending of Clexa (or non-ending in this case) to make up for what was ruined. They deserved a much longer, more fulfilling story. In this story, Lexa survives her fate! But how long will the two stay safe? And will their love have time to flourish in a time of uncertainty? Not All It's Cracked Up To Be

Alexandria's story is as familiar as can be in many ways. A classic small-town girl with a big dream to become a famous singer. The millionth girl who let fame go to her head and clearly thinks herself better than others because of the number of followers on her social media page. The one everyone either wants to be or wants to be with. Right? But not everything is as it seems and maybe being known and adored by millions isn't all it's cracked up to be. It can't be, because if it were, wouldn't it feel different? Once again I will be putting trigger warnings below, and I will add to the list as new potential triggers become relevant to the story. (this is kind of poorly written) Clarke lives in TonDC, New Jersey and she's seventeen. She's been bullied almost all of her lie. She has no friends and she has a very dreaded past and she can't forget what happened. She has a ton of problems that she expresses very much. Lexa goes to Arkadia Girls Boarding School, AGBS, and she's the most popular girl in school and the richest. She is also the gayest girl in school. She has a bad past with relationships but puts it aside. When Clarke moves to Arkadia, Lexa is anxious to meet Clarke and get to know her. "You cannot be serious. You can't make me - us do this!" Lexa exclaims. That wasn't quite true and Lexa knew it. They could make her do whatever they wanted as long as it was legal. It did not need to be moral. That's something that was Lexa's own fault. She had signed her life away for the second time in her twenty-seven years of existing, making just that possible. "Oh, come on, sweetheart, don't hurt my feelings now. Dating me wouldn't be that bad. I am a great girlfriend," Clarke responds instantly, sounding genuinely offended, a little hurt, and definitely mocking. "Actually, you'll find that we can make you do this and much more. I can hand you the contract you signed of your own volition if you'd like to confirm," the producer says seriously. And there it was. Lexa resented that she had already thought of that little fact, but no matter her feelings about it, she'd have to do it regardless. "Besides, this will help both of you boost your odds of staying in The Tower. The viewers have been going wild for you two online after your last challenge."
