Hadrian James Peverell, Lord Peverell, Lord Potter, Lord Black. Once upon a time those titles meant something different. They meant Harry Potter, Boy-Who-Lived, Man-Who-Conquered. They meant change and power. And for some they meant knowledge, and magical artifacts. They are, after all, one long line of a family interwoven.
Or so people believe. The truth is always different. There is no family. Only one lone Lord, his blood-adopted Godson, a handful of shades and two immortal alchemists measuring time not in years, not anymore, but in eras of change that they somehow always get roped into.
