-Featured Story -Wattys 2016 Winner Eve's a vegan zombie, and she really doesn't care what you think of it, so shush it. All she wants is to get by and find some pigeons or a fat rat - anything without a name she can eat before she starves to death in What's-Left-of-Los-Angeles, California. Because I don't care what you say, she's NOT eating humans. It's gross. Levon's weird and has a funny voice. Or maybe it just sounds funny when he hears it. Everyone's voice is funny when they hear it recorded, right? Anyway, he's like one of the only people who hasn't turned into a zombie since the outbreak, and even he has no idea how that happened. Feeding Frenzy
In a blink of an eye, the whole world can change. Evey had always lived a normal life. She was an emergency room nurse, had friends, and had a family that she loved. Her mundane world changes when she watches a man attack and feast on the flesh of another man at a gas station. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated attack. Majority of the population has been infected with an unknown airborne virus. Not only does it cause people to foam at the mouth and bleed from the eyes, but it turns them into mindless creatures that are hungry for flesh. Zombies? Not quite. They are infected, not dead. Evey's life is destroyed when her family becomes Infected. Being one of the few Immune, Evey is taken away to a military base with other people who seem to not be infected by the virus. There she meets multiple people including Ford, a stubborn and stern soldier that she is always disagreeing with but finds herself distracted by his eyes. The Immune band together and work for survival. Will they ever be able to find a cure? At what cost would they go to stay safe? Will they kill each other before being eaten alive?Concluida

The Virus
Everything had change. Four years ago, An unknown virus spread globally fast where cure is still been researched and vaccines are understudy. The Old and the young is an easy target, the sick and the healthy is predetermined as the virus show similar symptoms to an ordinary fever. The busy and lively city turn to a valley of death. But I still hope and dream that everything will be back not as normal it can be but to how it used to be, where all are free from Fear of death and people start to walk down the street happily again. Kyle Russell is a certified bad ass, an ex-Army Ranger come out of retirement to save the world from zombies. He's sinfully good looking, a little rough around the edges, and doesn't sugarcoat anything, but he's the guy you want on your team. He and his team of runners haven't failed a mission yet. Amongst their own, and even civilians, they're rock stars. They're the people who give everyone hope that a war against zombies that can be won. They're the exact opposite of Ella. "Shut up," he fumbled, absolutely petrified. "I-I hate you!" I laughed as we were both red in the face; one more sticky then the other, "Aww, I hate you too." My hands held my non-beating chest. "It's mutual trust me. But I guess you really want your Xbox back huh?" -- 17 year-old Evelyn Gates has a quiet yet witty personality. She usually stays in the background and is mediocre at literally everything... just ask anyone. She enjoys the smell of pizza and watching Guy Fieri stuff his face with food in her free time. Oh, and there's one more thing... she's immortal. That's right, Evelyn can't die, and she doesn't know why. Her body just magically puts itself back together again after tragic incidents. She calls it a curse, but the one other person who knows about it calls it a miracle. It's been ten years since the fall of humanity. I was only ten years old when the zombies took over. The military told us to flee underground, explaining that it was safer. The zombies are smart, too smart. They can learn to hide themselves. Some of them disguise themselves to look like normal people. We tell them apart by checking their eyes. Zombies have enlarged pupils compared to humans. Life is full of ups and downs, there's no question about it. We're tossed through the ringer daily, constantly faced with challenges and left wondering how we'll deal with them. Will we give up, or will we try? Will we cave, or will we push through until we succeed? Will we whine and moan about our misfortunes as we dwell on them for years, or will we learn from them, shrug them off, and heal ourselves with laughter?
