It was only a dare. "I dare you to spend two days in the haunted mansion in Foxglove Forest," Veronica sneered at Jedidiah, "...with Callie Weird." Anyone but Calliope Weir. She was bat-shit, and that mansion was haunted. She would try to summon the spirits or something. She made Jedidiah want to legitimately break his own eardrums and scoop his eyes out. He glanced over at Callie, sitting across the circle from him, twirling one of her curls. She had shaved her head the year before and now it was all grown out. It was like an Afro. Jedidiah almost gagged at the sight of it. "Absolutely not," he shook his head, knowing deep down that there was no way he would get out of it.
