They are trapped in a never-ending play, acting out the same roles over and over in the vague hopes that somehow, someday it will end. But it doesn't. So they deviate from the script, attempt to fulfill the purpose that brought them to the mountain in the first place in a last attempt to break free from the resets.
It doesn't work.
(But suicide is a pretty memorable thing, and emotions may just be a little bit stronger than memories.
Especially to the person who finds their dead body.)
This is a story I wrote in 2016 when I was in a mental health clinic dealing with my own depression and suicidal thoughts. Viewer discretion is advised. There will be scenes of suicide, but these will NOT be glorified or romanticized in anyway. Viewer discretion is advised.

However, when I went looking for Frisk x Reader stories I found that most of them were Male Frisk(/Chara) x Female Reader, or visa versa. I was looking for a Female Frisk(/Chara) x Female Reader. I didn't find many at all. Therefore, I have decided to write one myself. Hey guess what? THE COVER IS ORIGINAL!!! If we weren't trapped between time and space already, very few of us wouldn't be able to handle that knowledge, and could drive those who couldn't to the edge. So, please. I'm begging you. When you reach the End, when you get us out of here for the umpteenth time, I don't care if you reset or not. Just don't tell anyone about it, and... Please don't go homicidal again, okay?" Falling into a world, where monsters only care about killing all humans, Frisk has to try and escape. But with barely any friends, and with each death comes a new flower growing on them, they find that this wish is much more difficult than they thought. But, what happens when their determination becomes to much for only one person to hold? (This is a Frisk x Chara fanfic, the are both agender and will be referred to with they/them pronouns. This is using the Flowerfell AU, which is a combination of two different AUs; Flowertale: which is when every time Frisk dies, a golden flower blooms somewhere on their body, and Underfell: which is that all the monsters are more set on killing Frisk instead of mercy, and it's much harder to survive, and Flowey is actually kind and helps Frisk. The plot is created by me, but credit goes to Toby Fox for creating Undertale and whoever created the Flowerfell AU. Cover art is not mine and credit goes to the respective artist.)Complete
