She was a soldier and the long lost Queen of an underwater world.

When her war is finally over and she is crowned Queen she tasks herself with the mission of creating allies with the people her great grandparents turned away from. Her people didn't need a warrior, they needed a Queen capable of reconstructing the walls the former ruler (her mother) built from the fear she consumed from her people. That's how Delphine finds herself on the island many people called Paradise.

She soon learns it's the exact opposite. When she comes across the inhabitants battling beasts and only just now learning of the outside world, it takes a lot more than diplomacy to gain there trust.

Their war has just begun and Delphine finally learns where she and her people fit in this century-old war.
