A boy who believes in the myth of the cherry tree confesses, but instead of the promised happiness, he gets bullying and eventually drifts to delinquency. He starts getting aggressive, doing illegal things, hooking up with as many people as possible. It's unknown whether he can be changed back into a fine, upstanding citizen still, but some think it's worth a try.
