He never smiled. He never laughed.
He threw himself at his work and his family had grown concerned. This wasn't the same George Weasley that roamed the halls of Hogwarts. This wasn't the same George who picked on his siblings and ran around causing trouble.
This was someone different.
To his family, he was completely lost. To George, he was falling into and endless dark pit that no one could pull him out of.
And then an unexpected hand reached out to him.
