Morraine Vegas is diagnosed to have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder triggered by guns and slamming doors after witnessing how her father get shot to death. It is a mental health disorder that has intense, disturbing thoughts and feelings related to their experience that last long after the traumatic event has ended. Her mom sends her to Everhart Psychiatric Hospital in hope that medical attention will help her to heal.

7 years passed, Morraine finds out that her bills were not taken care of for 5 years and the hospital shoulders all her treatments and medications. To her horror, her mother never contacted the hospital and cut all ties with her.

With a broken heart, Morraine decides to end her life when suddenly a butterfly showed up making her  lose her balance and fell from the rooftop of the hospital in the middle of eclipse. She wakes up in the year 1937 in the body of Celestine Roseveign, the daughter of Admiral of the United States Asiatic Fleet. Her fate crosses with a Chinese merchant, Lay Zhang and their story continues in the middle of World War II.

As the story goes on, Morraine who used to live as Celestine finds herself in the middle of crisis as guns and bombs started to shower everywhere.
