Mara Jade is a new inquisitor who was put in the order to make up for the mistakes that resulted in the destruction of Fortress Inquisitorious. Her first mission is to do exactly that and hunt down the responsible for that, even though she does not know about that. Little do the others know that she's not that new at being an Empire agent.

She gets thrown in to the mission when Obi-wan and Anakin split up. Among the two empires, there are many in the Sith Empire that call for war, openly preaching their hatred for the "fakes" and the "false empire" that shames the name "Sith"... One of these individuals, is a man called Kyran Xovia, the son of Grand Emperor Malidictus, and is the prince of the empire, often referred to as "Darth Dreadis", or, "The Black Wind", due to his ability to galvanize people, and his innate darkness that shines through the night sky. Hating the Galactic Empire with a passion that is more fiery than even his own Father's hatred of it, Ky decides to make a stand against it...by joining, the Rebellion. Specifically with a group called..."The Ghost crew". After a mission on Lothal, things start to get a LOT more complicated...for the young Sith Lord...
