As much as Ellie is irked by Brett's arrogance and self assurance she finds herself flattered that he wants her to join him, and the possibility of following in her fathers footsteps in the music world starts to become more appealing... But first she has to convince her father Jake, who has kept her pretty sheltered from the music business and fame, to protect her from the murky past of her dead mother.
