It is long known that water is not an abundant resource and many researches have speculated that water might be a very scarce resource by 2050. Water is also a shared resource among humans and tons of industries. In fact, in some areas there are people who barely are able to drink even a glass of water a day. Conserving water is the need of the hour and some people choose to access and save this water using a practice called rainwater harvesting. In a country like India, rainwater harvesting has been practiced for almost 4000 years. Today, Brazil, Singapore, Australia, Germany, and China are the leading countries in rainwater harvesting.
