"Jake, I'm pregnant." And suddenly the world stopped spinning. "Well it's not mine," I sneered. Her eyes lit up out of anger. "You're the only one I've ever slept with," she yelled. I laughed mechanically and shook my head. "What's going on here?," a deep masculine voice said. I turned my head and saw the man from earlier. "Sorry for troubling you all." "You're on your own," I said pointing at Atlanta. I turned and started for the door. "Jake!" I stopped but didn't turn around. "If you leave now don't ever come back. You'll never see your child. I just want you to know that," Atlanta said slowly. "That's fine." I opened the door and walked out. I could hear her father calling after me, threatening me, shouting at me to take responsibility for my actions but I kept walking. I got in my car and drove off, not once looking back.
