The hooting owl, the dark nights, the endless monotony of day and night. All of these point towards one thing: the pendulum. Are lives fated? Is life a cycle that keeps repeating itself?

The series takes the reader on a journey into the lives of several fictional characters living life beyond the ordinary. As they swing relentlessly in life's orbit, we see there is more to life than meets the eyes. Perhaps, the goat staring intently at you is not really a goat, and night is just a cover for something evil, something sinister, lurking in the shadows. But you wouldn't know that, would you?
