Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone. He needs someone so badly. But what if there isn't anybody to help Midoriya? How will Midoriya cope when someone close to him dies right in his arms? Warning! This story will contain depression, suicide talk, torture (not explained explicitly), violence, and a whole lot of angst! Also, this story won't contain any ships. So, there isn't any BakuDeku, TodoDeku, etc., it's just a depressing story with Midoriya with his friends trying to change themselves to help him and their own selves in the future. Why, why can't he be a hero thought Izuku as All Might left him alone on the roof top overlooking the city. But little did Izuku knew was he wasn't truly alone rather someone with good intensions was waiting patiently on the roof with him ...a friend. This is a fanfic asking a question what if Izuku never got One For All and never got a quirk at all. Instead someone one else found him and offered him power that didn't stem from a quirk, rather it stemmed from the use of energies that are better described as magic. As two separate dimensional factions collide, vying for supremacy over the dimension one benign the other not so much. As you may have guessed I'm covering my butt on this but I don't own or never will own My Hero Academia. The only things I can say I own is well a few characters that are put into this story and concepts that stem from the content these characters originate from, and truth be told I didn't want to write this but I'd rather keep my two hundred dollars and write this fanfic because I lost a bet. I should also mention that this will follow semi-closely to the original story line of MHA with of course deviations as quite a few of the conflicts and plot points stemming from Izuku gaining One For All won't happen. Instead naturally they will be replaced with new plot points and conflicts originating from the absence of them for example the Meta Liberation Army will no doubt be gunning for Izuku due to the fact he has powers without a quirk.
