Sophia Reymont's fondest memories are of her home, The Reymont Chalet, affectionately known as The Christmas Chalet. Since studying and finding a job in New York City, she's been spending her vacation time climbing the corporate ladder at a marketing agency. When her Aunt Greta calls asking for her help to keep the chalet from being sold, she jumps at the opportunity she's been waiting for-a chance to market something she believes in.

Alexander Cavanagh has a successful business in Seattle as a real estate investor. He buys low-valued properties, converting them into his clients' dream offices and homes. He spots his next project quickly, and at a bargain, a cozy chalet in a tourist town in need of renovation. On an instinct, he takes a chance to move cross-country to the small town that can't help but draw him in, secondary only to the people he meets there.

An unexpected and light romance brewing in the holiday atmosphere has both rethinking life, love, the meaning of home.

A/N: Hello and thank you for checking out my cozy Christmas story! I've put a lot of love into this one but it's still my first draft. I'm hoping to go back and edit it one day. Still, it's always been about the characters for me and I hope you love them as they are! :)

"What do you mean by that?" "Spend this Christmas with me and you'll see." He smiled. Spend an entire Christmas? With him? Hell yeah! "Sure, I'd love to." His grin widened. "But I can't guarantee that it'll work." I grinned. "Challenge accepted." He smirked. We stayed like that, looking at each other with stupid smiles on our faces when unexpectedly it felt hot. Did Mini open a heater or something? He gazed into my eyes. Suddenly my mouth became dry and I unconsciously licked my lips, which made him look at them. I gulped. His eyes stayed there and I saw his Adam's apple bobbed. He leaned in, making my breath hitch. My heart throbbed so fast that it might explode any second. I looked at his lips; they look so soft, pink, and yummy. He continued leaning his eyes darted between my eyes and lips. When our noses touched, my eyes automatically closed, and I felt his breath on my lips. Is this happening? Are we going to kiss? My dream of marrying him will come true? *~*~*Winterfest 2020*~*~* HIGHEST RANKINGS: #1 in Miracles in December [Words count: 20,000 - 25,000]
I SAW SANTA KILL SOMEONE by KassandraVivu
36 parts Complete Mature
Celeste Gray thought it would be nice to stay in a cabin in the woods. Being able to be alone, left with her thoughts, finding nature, and the nice cozy feeling of warmth were what she needed. Which led her to book/rent out a cabin for the whole month of December. Spending the holidays alone shouldn't be too bad. I mean, there's a reason she's alone in the first place; this is what she needed to move on with her life. So everything should be fine. Celeste was wrong about that because the moment she decided to take that trail in the woods, she knew she fucked up. Especially when she saw Santa Clause, not dropping off gifts, not with his reindeer or his sleigh, but standing over a dead body. She just saw Santa kill someone. Ji-Cheol Kim is not your average man, he does something for a living that is not for everyone, but someone has to do it, especially when it's getting justice in a way for people who deserve justice done that way. He was doing his job, which he is very good at when someone who wasn't supposed to be there ended up being there. Now his plans have changed, which led him to do something he doesn't mind doing, finally being able to spend the holidays with someone. Even if the person doesn't want that, she has no choice but to accept it. Neither of them was expecting this to happen. Two people from different worlds who ended up bumping into each other are now spending the holidays together. This was far from being a Christmas miracle. 17 parts Complete

Winter was not the time for everyone. Especially not for Holly, who was snowed in her college building. To her bad luck, she had decided to leave for home on the twenty-first, unlike her friends, when a snowstorm had suddenly hit town. She had cursed mother nature's name. All she had wanted to do was get home as late as possible to shorten the time she would have to spend with her mom and stepdad... but now, she would never get to her destination in time. According to the news, the snowstorm would last days, the consequences might even weeks. And being the only one in her college building could become very lonely... but maybe she wouldn't be as alone as she had expected. To make everything better, Cade Thindal hadn't gotten his ride back home either. - 🥈Second place in the Carnival Awards 2021
