She appears again in my dreams. That blonde haired, blue eyed girl on a desolate moorland, her mournful singing enough for me to break. This is Brooklyn Starkling’s life. It’s happened over and over again, every night for thirteen nights. Now, in reality, she’s struggling with some serious issues. 1. Parents divorcing. 2. Completely unsocial and friendless. 3. Nowhere to run.
Can she handle her life? Or will she run away forever, into the land of her dreams?

The impact. Breathless and swift. Silence. Then a rushing sensation and a hard jerk to remind me of reality. Screams are everywhere, but all I see is the gray fabric rushing to meet me. Celestia is wounded. Not just physically, but mentally too. Her boyfriend, (it wasn’t serious, I mean, come on, they were 13), broke up with her and her body is grievously injured from a freakish car accident. This now-not-so-perfect cheerleader is trying to cope with all this and become normal again… but is that every going to happen?
