Nini works a desk job at a dance and vocal studio run by everyone's favorite couple, Seb and Carlos. She's sailor mouthed receptionist that goes broke to the swear jar everyday. Working alongside her brotherly figure, Ej, and his wife, Gina, makes life seem okay. She never had a dream job and is okay with this boring life she lives. Outside of work, her life revolves around her 7 month old golden doodle, Peeta, and her best friend Kourtney. She's been through the ringer when it comes to relationships and is so sick and tired of dating, until she meets Ricky.
Ricky is the most laid back, surfer boy you'll ever meet. He gives surfering lessons and helps around his friend's surf shop when needed. Having lost contact with his mother, and losing his father to the afterlife years back, he considers Big Red and Ashlyn as his only family. Oh, and Rocco. He's about a 3 three yearold rescue golden retriever and is the light of Ricky's life. He often takes him swimming and out to the dog park. The same one where he met Nini.
Now, Nini instantaneously fell in love with the boy and his pup right when they met. She wanted surfer boy more than anything. But there's one issue: Ricky has a girlfriend. And he doesn't seem to be wanting to give her up any time soon. Nini is devastated, but also up for the challenge. So, join your favorite group as they go on a journey through the trials and tribulations of Puppy Love and Sunflowers.

Hiding Behind Hatred
Ricky Bowen, you've heard of him right? Well of course you have, he's been in the business for over 20 years. Started off as a child actor, and then slowly starting to rise up in the music industry. Now, he's probably one of the biggest household names at age 24. But underneath the shining star is an overworked, and burnt out drunky who's practically on his breaking point. During only the 3rd show of his tour, Ricky seems like a complete lost cause and is forced to go on hiatus. Instead of just staying home for a while and not working, he's shipped off to a small suburb outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico to live with his grandparents for a while. He thinks he doesn't have a problem, and just wants to go back to his depressing LA lifestyle. But maybe the towns resident cafe owner can change that. Nini Salazar-Roberts is just your average 23 year-old woman. She graduated college and started her own Cafe, Cream n' Sugar. She will often drive down to John and Linda Bowen's house to help deliver groceries or just have a cup of tea. She's often described as one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and is loved by all, that is until Bowen shows up. The two don't necessarily click at first, and Ricky definitely doesn't want to get to know her in the slightest. But then on the same night, both make what they say to be the biggest mistake of their lives and everything just hits absolute rock bottom. Nini and Ricky want nothing more than for the other to get so far out of their life. But throw in a few lies and a little bit of fun, and now you've got everyone's new favorite couple... Nini Salazar-Roberts is perfect from head to toe. Perfect hair, grades, body, smile, personality, and practically everything else you could think of. She's been cheerleading for as long as she can remember and had been captain for two years. She's nothing short of amazing and quite possibly the nicest person you'll ever meet. And that's how she ends up getting to date Ej Caswell, Quarterback of the football team. Ej's everything you'd expect him to be. Tall, handsome, and the total package. Kind of. I mean, he's a nice guy... to his inner circle. But other than that, he can be a jerk. But that's besides the point in Nini's eyes. She's just happy to be in a relationship. Even if that includes dealing with Ej's step brother. A little while ago, Ricky's mother, Lynne, remarried to Todd Caswell. Ricky didn't mind the guy, but he didn't necessarily love him. And since Mike was gone a lot due to work, they decided that Ricky would stay with Lynne and live with the Caswell's. And that includes his two new step brother's, Ej and Elliot. Now Ricky and Ej couldn't be more different. Ricky goes to a prestigious private arts school and is an incredibly talented singer. When disaster strikes. When a horrible fire breaks out. Rini is trapped and caught under piles of rocks and stones on top of her body from pieces of the falling building on top of her and her mother. When her mom kept trying to get her out. she screamed out at her husband who is also a firefighter as well. But he chose to recuse someone else's kid. He left his daughter to die while he recused his mistress's Amber's daughter instead of his own daughter. He assumed that the recuse team would make it to his wife and kid and assumed that Ruby was in more danger then Rini was right now, and he left with someone else and someone else's kid. He didn't even go back to see if his daughter made it out alright, he left her, he left her mother as her daughter screamed out for her daddy to come back. As she was being crushed to death when all her mother could do was cry and hold her the best she could and trying to lift the heavy stone off of her daughter's body. As she screamed out for help from anybody. Until she was recused by a familiar friendly face that's been in her life since the day she married her Husband. But when they reached the hospital, it was far too late to save Rini's life, she was gone leaving behind a brokenhearted mother and Serenity wanted justice for this. Serenity strikes out for revenge and files for divorce and wants to take everything they love. They had taken her daughter from her. Her death happened because her father abandoned Rini for another woman and child who wasn't even trapped or hurt. So, Serenity wants to make Amber pay for everything. Darien too would get what's coming to him. She was pissed and she had no reasons to hold back her own rampage for revenge. So, Serenity strikes out for revenge. Will she ever be able to love again?
