Many people see Death differently.
Some hate Death, blaming Death for stealing their family, friends, pets, and loved ones. Some long for Death, wishing their time was up a lot earlier than it was meant to be. Some ignore Death, pretending it doesn't affect them. Pretending it'll all be okay.
But what happens when you escape Death? Not even Death knows the answer to that.

My Grim Guardian (unedited)
How would you feel if you knew you had a guardian angle dedicated to saving you from harm and protecting you for the rest of your life? That would be pretty cool wouldn't it? Well what if that Guardian angle had been by your side through your younger years as an 'imaginary friend?' Still pretty cool right? Well for Tori its been one Hell of a ride. Most people have an angle sent from heaven to protect them from the evil in the world. I did say most didn't I? Tori doesn't have an angel that was sent from heaven, rather an angel that fell from Heaven. Most call him "Death", or the "Angel of Death," but to Tori he is known as "Grim," or a nuisance. He bounded himself to her by blood when they were younger, saving her from death when her parents were killed in an "accidental" car crash. Along with dealing with Grim's shenanigans she also must deal with the various other supernatural beings that wish to kill or take control of her unique soul.Complete

Life was just a huge nightmare for Ife and things just seemed to go from bad to worse for her. She never caught a break. She didn't think she did anything to deserve such a life but then again, even if she didn't know what it was, God knows all. The quickest escape would have been suicide. But suicide wasn't the bravest. It was cowardly. But she didn't even have the courage to try. When she gets a chance to meet the Angel of Death as she'd been wishing, it doesn't quite go as planned. But that's ok. Because things do not always work out how we want them to. *** I created a challenge for myself, or a proposal where you send me a word or a phrase or a sentence.
