adventure apocolypse baby group survive zombie

I walk down the empty country road heading to town. There is tons of overgrown grass. I hear a noise behind me and i turn around. I see a truck driving up behind me and then stop. I just stand there staring. Then two people get out of the car. A boy and girl both around my age,16. The girl has a bat in her hands and starts walking towards me and stops two feet away from me. She picks up the bat and swings, I duck fast and barely make it out of the way.

"STOP!" I yell

I stand back up and she takes another surprise swing and hits me in the head. I instantly fall. 

I wake up and see my bag is emptied all over the ground, a lot of my stuff is missing and the two kids are gone. I touch my head and its bleeding. The sun is setting so I pick up my stuff fast and pick up the wooden baseball bat they left me. Riley tries to survive the zombies but what happens when she falls in love ,loses her best friend and gets pregnant.

When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. Right now, I'm squatting in a pile of human waste, desperately trying to get a signal on my phone. My friends are watching me reluctantly, their faces stained with blood and what I only hope is dirt. The light from my phone is illuminating their faces, casting light on the looks of horror that I have come to know all too well.
