Connor is not a normal boy living a normal life. His parents are constantly fighting and he is struggling at school. Like many other teenagers all over the world, he is dreaming of becoming a professional footballer. But he was not able to play for a youth team, because his parents did not want to drive him to training. After a school football tournament in Lancashire, Connor gets invited to a trial with West Ham. The life-long Tottenham supporter hesitates, until his best friend Logan remembers him that an offer like this is what they have been dreaming about ever since they know each other. Beck Hart feels like she's made it before the World Cup semi final. With a firm place in the England starting line up and a successful season as Chelsea's first choice left back, she has the world at her fingertips. But one bad tackle and she's fearful that her career might be cut short. Now, a year later, Beck is back in action at the training ground. But things are tougher than she remembers in the world of Premier League football: intense competition, spitefulness, triumphs and defeats plague her on the pitch, not to mention a changing relationship with a certain teammate off it. Will she be able to stick it out and regain control of her promising career? Or will all of the chaos and drama put her back on the sidelines? **Disclaimer: this is a Mason Mount fic, but in the book his name is Mason Mitchell**
