Connor is not a normal boy living a normal life. His parents are constantly fighting and he is struggling at school. Like many other teenagers all over the world, he is dreaming of becoming a professional footballer. But he was not able to play for a youth team, because his parents did not want to drive him to training. After a school football tournament in Lancashire, Connor gets invited to a trial with West Ham. The life-long Tottenham supporter hesitates, until his best friend Logan remembers him that an offer like this is what they have been dreaming about ever since they know each other. After five lonely years in London, Connor finally realizes his dream of becoming a professional footballer.
