The Mysterious Muggle World

After damaging the Whomping Willow (the oldest tree in Hogwarts), four girls get sent to detention in Professor Snape's office and risk the possibility of expulsion. They end up accidentally activating the time turner necklace causing them to teleport to modern day America. They all get separated into different states with no contact with each other.
