Very Rough Draft*
During a casual day at school, a sudden zombie outbreak occurs in the small town of Amberley, South Island, New Zealand, causing teachers and students to evacuate immediately. Teachers have gave out an odd stupid plan to set kids up with younger students. Every man for himself, doesn't quite suit the teachers ideas, even if most will die within the first week.
But, being forced to, teachers put together groups of 6, 1 teacher, with a group of kids, and taking 3 JK/SK students with them, from the elementary side of one of the 3 schools that occupy the large vast of land.
When Alex is placed in her group, she knew it was going to be hell. But she doesn't let that overrule her. She knows she must do everything in her will to keep the little ones alive.
When the moment finally comes, teachers and students all split, leaving the schools a ghost town, and everyone for themselves or the dead.
But will their chance increase? Or will their survival be a waste? Who will live? And who will die?
Was it all just a waste of time?
BOOK ONE || the Oblivion's Embrace saga...
three friends stuck within a zombie apocalypse at school. What else could go wrong?
Tom, Lucy, and Jace found themselves in the middle of an apocalypse. The world as they knew it had come to an end, and they were the only ones left alive in their small town. They had to rely on each other to survive.
Tom had strength, and when there was a battled he'd be there. He knew how to fight. He had weapons and supplies stashed away in his basement, and he was determined to defend himself and his new friends from the dangers outside.
Lucy was a girl who saw the best in things, and she always knew how to care for people. She used her medical knowledge to tend to Jace's wounds when he was injured, and she helped Tom when he fell ill. She was the glue that held the group together.
Jace was a person who knew where his morals were. He'd stand and fight as well as heal the wounded. He knew how to find information. He scoured the abandoned town for books and maps, and he used his knowledge to help the group navigate the dangerous terrain. He was also a skilled storyteller, and he kept their spirits up with tales of adventure and heroism.
Together, the three of them set out to find other survivors. They travelled through the ruins of their town, avoiding the infected and the raiders who roamed the streets. They encountered many dangers along the way, but they never gave up hope.
