The Nikara Cycle 

This cycle of episodic stories is focused primarily on the world of the Lower Astral Plane that is a parallel sphere of existence with the mortal physical realm.  In the stories, this plane is set mainly in San Francisco.  This is a world with its own rules and dangers.  Here those who fall away from the process of Reincarnation may wander among strange creatures, slavers and organized crime societies.  The organization that protects and guides the lost humans are the Yamadutas.  They are the main characters of these tales which focus on their adventures.  

In 'The Monster Maker' an infamous creator of hideous monsters sets up shop in the city of San Francisco and the public is in danger.  But they are not the only ones.  Her head of security has a secret that is a threat to the Yamadutas.All Rights Reserved
