The Clans' have left their old territory, forgetting all their troubles there. Little do they know, they have forgotten a loved kit, Fogkit, Fogkit finds himself forgotten, being found by Twolegs' and raised by them as a Kittypet. When Fogkit is old enough to leave, he investigates the Opening Pool, the Clans' former way of meeting up with their ancestors. Fogkit drinks the pool water, imagining that it was normal water. Not the water that would make him pass out, seeking revenge.
