What is it that makes a bond between a father and son so strong?

World Traveler-Elliot No.2 The mansion was on fire. Everyone was safe. Or so I thought. beneath the mansion was the waterfall. everything fell apart. still, I couldn't help but grasp the shivering little boy next to me. It was the kingdoms neglected prince. But then we fell-plunging into the waterfall's abyss, my past erased the moment I hit the water. When we woke, we remembered nothing but our names. I took a tiny step back but the grip didn't loosen. I decided to look up and meet the eyes of who those warm and comforting hands belonged to. I was met with the deepest blue eyes I have ever seen in my life. He was much taller than me and had the silkiest looking brown, almost black colored hair. That made me want to run my fingers through it. He was absolutely beautiful. There was something about his eyes that made them so captivating.
