so I'm rewriting this, I originally wrote this in 7th grade so don't judge. It explores the life of Queen Clair and her quest to save her kingdom and come into her own as a young, headstrong queen...and hopefully her dying mom and freinds whose life is in her young hands. Queer characters, a lil magic, prophecies, and manipulative parental scars, yk fun stuff like that...Shh ik there's inconsistencies, this is a rough draft.
Little excerpt: "and...I know what you're going to do." When I didn't answer right away he cocked his head at me. "Am I wrong?"
"You can't stop me."
"I wasn't going to...I just." He sighed. "You don't even know where it is, or if it will work. I don't think that this is the answer."
"Daneen..." I leaned down and cupped his face. "I have to try. This flower is the only hope we have."
"Then let someone else go, this isn't your job."
"It is my job. I am here to protect my people. How long do I let men and women die in this war? Do I let my mom die? How long do I let Ursula reign before she destroys us? I have to do this."
Daneen got up from the bed. He stood a few inches taller than me, even with the heels I wore. He placed his hands on my shoulders.
"I just..i just want you to be careful," he finally said.
I removed his hands off my shoulders.
"I need to do this," I said.
Ignore the inconsistencies and character personality changes...i actually think if you read it with an open mind its fine.....slow updates

Defying Fate
Please don't read this, I wrote it in middle school and it's really bad. I just don't want to delete it because some people might get mad at me ;-; Maybe someday I will rewrite it. "What kind of fairytale is this? Where's the happy ending?" The little girl, approximately 7 years old, asked her mother. "That's what I wanted to teach you May, you should know now, that life isn't always going to have a good end. Bad things are going to happen, and if you play them off and ignore them, it will only worsen," May's mother explained. May nodded slowly. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Once upon a time, is how most fairytales start. Then, they end with a happily ever after. But not this story... There once was a prince, who fell in love with a girl. But she wasn't a princess. She was the hand maiden of a nobleman's daughter, who had eyes for the young prince. The prince and girl fell in love, but couldn't be together, for the nobleman's daughter grew jealous when she found out, and ordered them to be killed. This story was called "The Lover's Curse." As it passed down, generation through generation, it became known as only a legend, a myth. But it was true. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ It's up to May and Drew to break the hold destiny has on them, to fight for their own way. Will they live their happily ever after, or die trying? +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Wow! This story was such an adventure for me. Child, tuck yourself in bed, Let me tell a story, Of Lemuria, a kingdom past, And a girl born for glory. Lost from our world came she, Treachery gave close chase, She raised her sword and flew, For she feared not the race. Three long lost lights to save, A mad queen to defeat, The journey would transform her, Her destiny to meet. The path home tragic and faint. Beware the night, Child of Light. ******************************** For such an epic fairy tale, i was saddened that it was only in a video game form. What about the book readers? what about the children who could not afford the game itself? Therefore I decided to be a narrator, to write one, a fan fiction (retaining the rhyming style in my writing) for all those who did not know about such a story; children, adults, and all who still have the child's heart within (him/her)self. Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.Tamamlanmış Hikaye

My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" "There are a bunch of wolves outside my house. I think they have rabies or something I'm not sure." The banging gets louder and I can feel my face getting wet from the tears. "Mamm did you say wolves are there?" "Yes Yes there are wolves about 10 of them out here in my front yard. I need help!" I hang up the phone and sit on the end of the stair case. I close my eyes and start praying. Something I haven't done in a while. "I have faith, there is a god. I have faith, there is a god, I have faith, there is a god." I repeat over and over. The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. A woman emerges and walks toward me. She snaps her fingers and the pretty brown wolf is in front of me. Right there by my face. "Ridanna you know what to do." Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists. I feel like there is no such thing as pain and I feel light as if I can float off the Earth. Fine as hell white boy with a pro-black activist fall for each other. Cherise Miss Activist doesn't want to date Zaire the fine as hell white boy not for his race but for his secrets. What if he had a past he didn't tell you about and the only way you found out is because the past came to kill you? And I'm not talking werewolves and vampires.
