Do you believe in love at first sight? The feeling when you look at someone's eyes and you just know "this is mine person". Alex felt that once in his life and he know it right away. That's why Alex is shy and nervous around Luca even though they end up in the same friend group and seeing each other every day. I point above my head, my back's pressed against the bookcase. He locks his gaze on mine and reaches over me to grab the book I asked for. "Thanks." I don't move and neither does he. Riley and Devin have been best friends forever-since Kindergarten. It's Senior year of high school, now. And it's always been simple, Riley's got his back, he's got hers. But as life goes on Riley can't help but wonder if maybe he's not just her best friend, if she likes him as possibly something more. As her feelings deepen and become something greater it becomes more evident that she's falling, really hard. No matter how hard Riley tries she can't stop falling, she can't stop from loving him. Even if it tears her to pieces or even if it destroys their friendship. Pretty soon Riley is going to have to choose between walking the safe line of friendship or taking the unpaved path of love. I Can't Admit I Love You
LUCAS I sat next to her on the couch and brushed her hair from her face. She was all sweaty. " Lucas ..?" She hummed. " I'm here.." " I'm sorry, I'm an embarrassment..." I chuckled. "No you're fine you just drank too much. We were trying to sober you up, then we found you at the bar drinking shots!" It was really a funny sight as I recalled. " Lucas ?" Her eyes pried open again and she stared at me. "Yeah?" " Will you stay with me tonight?" SKYLAR He hugged me again. I could never get enough of his hugs, and still I wanted more. I wanted more than that with him. It hurt so much knowing that it could never be so. "Don't be sorry, I'm just happy I got to you in time." Lucas' voice was so gentle, so sweet and sincere. If I didn't pull away from him I would start to cry again. I held my breath, my hand pressed a little more on his back. As I did this though I felt him tense up from my touch.
