When her plane crashes in the middle of an unknown island, Merissa didn't know what to expect. That was until her and her fly-mates, Jock boy Jeremy, Popular girl Jannet, Outcast Adam, Nerd boy Sheldon, and her boyfriend Micheal discover what exactly the island was. Isla Nublar, the site of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World. They learn that the hard way when they come face to face with Rexy, the original Tyranosaurus Rex. Can all the survivors survive the elements of Isla Nublar? Or will they become the dinner of the various carnivors?

Maya Hyde is the newest paleontologist on the market, her name being tied to finding a new dinosaur skeleton, but obviously not just any cluster of bones, as she managed to dig up an infamous tyrannosaurus-rex with her team. It made headlines the second she arranged the excavation. Although she caught the attention of people she didn't want any. By nature, she rejects him, but upon hearing that he would be funding her t-rex project she quickly changes her mind. That's how she ends up getting too close to dinosaurs for her comfort.
