Before Tulsa was split in two, greasers and Socs, us and them, Alice used to spend her afternoons at the Curtis house, laughing at Soda's dumb jokes and pretending her heart wasn't tangled up in him. But that was before everything changed. Before she chose comfort over connection. Before the line was drawn, and she ended up on the wrong side of it. Now, Ponyboy's missing, Cherry's talking to greasers, and Alice is starting to realize the side she picked never really felt like home. When she walks back into Sodapop Curtis's life, she's not expecting forgiveness. But she is hoping, maybe, for a second chance at being someone he could love. A story about loyalty, heartbreak, and finding your way back to the people who matter most.
