Way Too High

A series of flash fiction stories following the entangled lives of September, Rhapsody, Cameo, and Echo. Dancers at Heaven's Hideaway, a failing strip club in Andreas - soon to be under new management. And with new management, comes new rules.

As the veteran, Echo assumed her position on top would be safe, but as unsaid words and egos continue to drive a wedge between her and her safety net, Echo is facing an ungraceful fall from the top.

Always known to adapt, Rhapsody may have been getting by with skimming off her customers. But now that her partner in crime has more authority around the back rooms, her side hustle is in danger of being exploited.

September was only supposed to be passing through the club, attracted to the fast money. However, she found herself underneath the club's spotlight - and will do anything to protect it.

And as the newest girl, Cameo is still trying to figure out who to trust and who to steer clear of. Even though, she hadn't quite left behind the role that led her to Heaven's in the first place.

Other characters include; a scorned Dante who had already lost two women to Heaven's, Kendrix and Peace who are both roaming the halls looking for a way to prove that they are more than yes men, house mom, and former crowd favorite Venus who is still healing from a night that changed her life forever, TK the DJ, the up-and-coming Lola, the forever loyal Buddy, Alonzo the temporary owner and Fargo - everyone's worse nightmare.
