After an assassination attempt on Andy's life, he and Cathy begin investigating only to discover that Mages are being targeted by a secret group. What are their motivations and who are they? I can't really remember as it was a long time ago and I never finished the story haha

The "lost" 3rd book in the Legend of Kairu Series. It only goes to Chapter 15 as my health had deteriorated terribly by then and I ended up taking a 2 year vacation to help put myself back together again. When I came back, I had mentally abandoned the series and it sat in my archives ever since.
