Caroline Johnson is a 15 year old girl with a locket. Her mother gave it to her a long time before she ran away, without knowing the dangers that were to come. However that locket is no ordinary locket. It can be controlled by anyone who knows about it. Lots of bad things happen when Caroline wears the locket. When she found out that people can control it, Caroline and her best friend, Alice, set out to destroy this locket once and for all. And it won't be easy destroying the locket because Drake Turner, the most evil villain of all, is after them. He wants the locket for himself. Nobody knows what he'll do with it. Will Caroline be able to let go of this locket? If she is able to, how will they defeat Drake Turner?
