Imagine this, life is peaceful until one day, the neighboring kingdom declares war with your own kingdom. Your father, the king, is very ill and at the verge of his death. Cherry on top of a not-so-nice life cake, you are forced into an arranged marriage with a guy who is behind you only for your name. Well, that's what Sophia is facing. Sophia isn't some Disney Princess waiting for her Prince Charming. She is a rebellious, flawed princess and is willing to wait for the right person who actually deserves her. She loves her father and her deceased mother dearly. She knew she'd get in trouble for running away and will eventually have to come back being the only heir to the kingdom. She definitely isn't interested in marrying Thomas, but if he was planning to force her, she too wouldn't wed him until giving him a hell for his asshole-y ness. Not until he realizes his mistakes and becomes a better person. Not everyone gets to marry the person they love, some times they need to love the person they marry, given that the other is also willing to make efforts. Maybe marrying Thomas won't be so horrible. Maybe he can become a better person. As she screamed out for help from anybody. Until she was recused by a familiar friendly face that's been in her life since the day she married her Husband. But when they reached the hospital, it was far too late to save Rini's life, she was gone leaving behind a brokenhearted mother and Serenity wanted justice for this. Serenity strikes out for revenge and files for divorce and wants to take everything they love. They had taken her daughter from her. Her death happened because her father abandoned Rini for another woman and child who wasn't even trapped or hurt. So, Serenity wants to make Amber pay for everything. Darien too would get what's coming to him. She was pissed and she had no reasons to hold back her own rampage for revenge. So, Serenity strikes out for revenge. Will she ever be able to love again? Or open her heart? again? Read it and see. Tears might be shed; I know I cried writing this to be honest.
