Following his trial, Varian is sentenced to servitude in Ingvarr to pay for damages to Corona. Lieutenant Cassandra is supposed to escort him there, but Rapunzel wants her best friend on her journey. To compromise, the Princess suggests taking Varian with them. ------------------- Updates will typically release on Sundays at 8AM EDT. The cover art is made by yours truly, and was inspired by an album cover from my favorite music artist, Kiltro! Go check out their music- which also inspired the name of this story, haha. My personal favorite song in Underbelly (the album) is Errasuriz. Also! I write everything in google docs, which is where I format everything for AO3 (this work is cross-posted to AO3). On their journey to figure out the mystery of the black rocks that have been plaguing the Kingdom of Corona lately, a group of friends find more mystery, old friends, and best of all, love. Join Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, Pascal, Max, Lance, Varian, Ruddiger, and Altair as they end their adventure differently than you would expect. Hi! I'm Hope, and I'll by your narrator for this story. Now, I have no clue what happens, as my Dad has forbidden me from reading ahead as I am just as prone to give out spoilers as Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo are. Couple of disclaimers, uh, everyone except Altair, Mia and the other characters in this story that you aren't familiar with if you've watched the show belong to Tangled: The Series. Basically, it's a really, really good spin-off of Rapunzel's time in Corona between Tangled, and Tangled Ever After. It involves plot-twists and astounding character development and a tremendous amount of heartache for a kid's show. Selina and I highly recommend it. Altair belongs to the amazing Tumblr user and artist @shima-draws. Selina asks of you to check her out, she's a-mazing. Every other character mentioned in this story belongs to Selina. Just about 1 year after his fall and arrest, Varian alone in the darkness of his cell, longs for one thing. Meanwhile Cassandra's now endless power rises up, as she swears revenge on Rapunzel for what happened so long ago. Note: This is based off Tangled the Series which if you don't watch it you will be very confused. Sorry this thing isn't very good, it's my first fanfic. If you do somehow end up reading it, and wether you hate it or kinda like it, please tell me what you think! Cover art is not by me! The series finale just hit its fifth anniversary, and as I was thinking about it I remembered this fanfic existed. ...this is certainly a piece of work, lmao. Between the writing style being very reflective of my age to the self-deprecating comments I wrote about my own writing to the stolen cover art (my sincerest apologies for that, I am going to change it but the original is by @codynaomiswireart on tumblr) it is beyond me what was going through my head when I wrote it. It is for that reason I found myself shocked to see it with thousands of reads and comments, which thank you for by the way, I did not realize there was this much demand for moon Varian lol. For now I intend on leaving it up solely because it is hilarious to me and a good reflection on what was at the time a very important show to me. In the present, a lot of my love for the series has been somewhat diminished, due to many factors. When the gang gets back to Corona, something unexpected awaits them. Varian is nowhere to be found. They face conflicting emotions as the King assures them that Varian is fine. As they attempt to uncover the truth, unnerving horrors are revealed. ---------------------- Basically season 1 and 2 happened but Varian didnt take over with Andrew. Also Cassandra took the moonstone, BUT Rapunzel convinced her to put it back, but none of that is really described until later. There are a lot of Varian abuse fics but there aren't enough with OMORASHI IN THEM LETS GO VARIAN PISSFIC(nonsexual, basically omocute) This is on ao3 too but this is the edited version so its a lot better the other one was basically I wrote it and then published it without doing any reading over ‼️‼️‼️‼️⚠️ PLEASE READ THE TAGS im sick of people acting surprised and saying the book is "bad" or "inappropriate " ya'll, it does have very intense elements and i'll agree that its not appropriate for younger audiences because of some some rape and abuse scenes but it's for the plot and trauma!
