Cara Jones's boss is out to get her. At least, that's what Cara thinks. She was just assigned the biggest case in California with the smallest case file; the case of Pablo. The huge drug lord that runs the underground world. He is back and with a vengeance. He's killed two people and his case is the top priority. So Cara becomes Nicole Smith as an effort to get into the inner-circle of Pablo. As she discovers how the underground works she learns that not everything is as it seems. When she finds out what Pablo's real identity is she's shocked. As the two get closer Cara is torn between the law and the man she's falling in love with. In the end, it comes down to what is right and what is the truth. But can Cara determine what is what in time?
