A woman is trapped within a London hospital and can't move beyond its grounds. She doesn't know exactly how long she's been there, and she can't ask anyone because nobody can see her or touch her, except people on the verge of death whose souls she helps move on into the afterlife. She spends her time following doctors and nurses around the wards, eavesdropping on their conversations and observing their lives. Her only reprieve from her isolation is the infrequent visits from Death himself, an entity who appears to be infatuated with her. Follow this ghostly figure as she tries to understand who and what she is while she tries to escape from her monotonous existence.

"Welcome back to the land of the living, Alexandra... Please don't make too much of a mess on your first night." ------------------------- The after life is complicated and it is in the hands of two species to keep it organized. Angels live in the light but they have changed over the years. They are selfish creatures that want every soul to belong to the heavens even when they don't deserve it. Evil Angels live in the dark and they try to uphold the after world by giving evil souls what they truly deserve. Both species stay away from humans to preserve the existence of the curiosity of the afterlife. But what happens when a girl appears and finds out about these two mysterious species?
