A young girl is kidnapped. She is told she is the only one who can save humanity. From what, you may ask? Well, turns out humans haven't been doing so well. There's currently a war going on. The girl is to be used as an important hostage to negotiate a release of rebel troops.

Rosalie Anderson, the minister of agriculture's daughter. She is rich, pretty much famous, and believes in what her father believes. She believes that the rebels are evil stealing kidnappers that should be killed and imprisoned.

Rylen Channing, a soldier for the rebels. His family died in a ditch due to his father not meeting the yearly harvest quota. He is spontaneous and very-open minded. Will he be able to win the war fighting alongside the rebels.
