"W-Why are you haunting me, and how do I know this is real?" Lucy asked almost in tears. Alastor held up his hand and it suddenly had a fire lit along the top of his fingers. Lucy looked around wildly at the people around her to see if anyone else could see what he was doing. "I was sent to haunt you until you decide to kill yourself I think." He answered and he leaned back and closed his eyes. "It was kinda unclear but that's what I got. Though I'm not allowed to do it myself so you don't have to worry about that." He answered. She looked down at his resting face and her mind started spinning with even more questions.

It was a binding talisman - one of the many that had been strung across the door. And it had broken when the door had swung open. Dread seeped into my heart as I gasped out loud, a chill coming over me. I swallowed, breathing irregular, as I kept my eyes glued to the wooden floor. A shadow had crept up in front of me, belonging to the one thing that I had seen inside of the room just seconds before. The drummer boy lifted my chin up. When I met his eyes, I was paralyzed. The brown color was the same, but where that thin smile once was replaced by one that stretched wide, splitting his entire face in half. I stared at the sharp daggers of each tooth, legs quivering so violently I thought I would collapse onto the floor. "Hello, witch girl," the drummer boy purred, watching me with the eyes of a predator. His torso stiffens, his voice becomes more strained. Even his eyes narrow and he looks upset. But not like the others, listening to the news, either with a face of horror or fear. No, he look almost... angry? You look around checking if anyone else noticed, but most of your colleagues don't pay any attention to Alastor. Chrissy whispers to someone, probably talking about some gossip of the serial killer. "The Shadow" they call him, as he supposedly dissapears from the scene without a trace. Well, he didn't now." ⋆.˚ ☾ .⭒˚ The story's first part mainly focuses on Alastor's human double life, and his sudden interest in a potential prey of his, a girl who works as an intern at the radio station. Little bit a slow burn, but has some fluff even until :3 Contains Lemon, also TW for stalking, blood and violence. 👀 I dislike the whole Y/N format, so I simply do not address the main character, and only refer to them. Maria's love for being on stage and getting attention gave her the sin of greed. She never wanted a serious relationship so she went after married men, toyed with them, dumped them, and that got her killed. She is sent to hell for her sins. In life, she was a beauty and she is a beauty in hell. This makes her a wanted soul. Luckily, her brother finds her and can protect her. Everything is going great until the Radio Demon (Alastor) shows up at the casino. Maria makes a deal with Alastor to spare her brother's life. Win or lose the game she will have to be Alastor's personal songbird. Maria sees Alastor as a prideful argent ass until she finds him in distress one evening. She ends up making another deal with Alastor. She never thought it would end up with them being together. One day, Alastor disappears before Maria can tell him about two little things. Over the years, Maria still loves Alastor but she can't decide if he should know about the two little things if he ever comes back or its best to keep them a secret.
