Enty gets abducted by a group of government scientists that try to figure out what those shadows are. They are mean to Enty because they think he is dangerous so they treat him as a threat. Enty takes the opportunity to try and figure out what he is as well since he also doesn't know, but the scientists make it very hard to accept himself. He becomes conflicted with himself. He starts to believe that he is a danger to everyone and begins to regret ever coming out of the darkness to live with the group of people that looked like him. He could have hurt them. His emotions get to the better of him and he just wants to be left alone and in doing so, he ends up badly hurting, almost killing one of the scientists. It wasn't his fault and he didn't mean to, but now he's being put under new restrictions. As time goes on, he loses hope in ever being saved. Will he be saved? Will his family come find him? Do they also think he is a danger?
