Alongside this Amity is desperate to escape the abuse of her parents, but with no where to turn she is losing hope fast. Will Luz figure out how she feels for Amity in time? Or will the duo remain little more than friends forever onward? This story takes place after episode 17 but episode 18 and 19 never happened in this AU and Amity never broke her leg. Life isn't easy for Luz or Amity. They've both been abused, been hurt, been traumatized. They've hurt each other multiple times and yet they love each other greatly, strongly. Luz spends years chasing after a crush and only ends up falling, breaking her own heart. She doesn't understand what this feeling is that she has whenever she's around. As time goes by the feeling grows. Amity has those same feelings yet she doesn't know how to contain them. She acts recklessly with her feelings and that can get her in tricky situations.
