In a world where everything is delivered to us by fact or fiction, it seems that one is easier to believe over the other. But when does fiction become fact? Was fact ever fiction?
Millie D'Argent never got along with her twin sister, Jacqui, on account that they disagreed over the truth in myths and legends they've learned and heard through the years. Even as they aged into adults, the differing mindsets they had sent their relationship in a downward spiral. When a special request from her geography professor sent Millie to Mount Ebott, and a dare gone wrong sent her tumbling into the cavern at the summit, she went on an adventure that would not only show her how real the legends were, but just how dangerous her sister's exploits could be.
For the Underground was not a figment of imagination, but sheer reality indeed. And not only would Millie had to fight for her life to leave, but she would have to find a way to stop her sister from wiping out the world she landed in before it was too late.
