Lily Comet Daisy Boyce is blind and epileptic. She has suffered from blindness and epilepsy since she was 7.
Her parents decided to uproot her and her brother and move to the small rainy town of Forks, Washington where everybody knows everybody and the smallest rumor spreads like wild fire. Lily will be attending Forks High School as a junior. Being at a school for non-blind kids is new to her so she has no idea what to expect. Lily thought that she was going to be an outcast and be made fun of because of her disability. She thought she wouldn't make any friends because of her disability but she was wrong. She becomes fast friends with another girl. She didn't realize but she was quickly falling for the vampire with the southern draw and great manners.
